“It’s physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting. It’s painful, beautiful, disgusting and intimate. It’s the definition of the human experience. And she’s perfect.” Isla June was born on May 14th at Community North hospital. The experience of watching and photographing a couple going through labor is unlike anything I have ever been able to photograph before. The emotional connection present between Kurt and Jessica through the process was intimate and strong and these photographs are raw and show vulnerability, yet tremendous strength. This experience is one that I will never forget, thank you. Isla June, here is your birth story.

My good friend Jessica is expecting her 2nd child; a little girl. They are thrilled and Oscar is so excited to be a big brother. Jessica is gorgeous and looks amazing! Her little family is so fun and easy to photograph. They made a trip down to Franklin to play at the park and take photos. We ended the session at our favorite restaurant, Mi Pueblo. Perfect day

Meet Ronin. He’s the newest addition to the Crossman family. I’ve been able to photograph this little family for the past 1.5 years. I’ve watched Ashland grown from a newborn to a toddler. Looking forward to watching Ronin grow. I have a feeling he’s going to love his big sister Ashland loves the camera and I can’t get enough of her either.
